About

Sarah Moreau

Originally from rural Iowa, Sarah took an unconventional path to healthcare. Unsure of her initial direction, she earned a BFA in Theater from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and went on to perform in stage productions and musical improv, including work with All Skate, a musical improv group performing weekly at Second City Los Angeles, Story Pirates performing stories written by children, and multiple productions with the Chance Theater in Anaheim Hills. Her interest in human behavior led her to pursue a master’s in psychology, launching a 16-year career in Applied Behavior Analysis—nearly half of which she has served as a Board CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA). Driven to expand her impact, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing through Charles Drew University’s entry-level program, graduating in 2022. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training in 2025. Her nursing experience includes medical-surgical and detox care at College Medical Center in Long Beach and Bear Valley Community Hospital in Big Bear, California. Currently, she works as a BCBA for Nurture & Nature Applied Behavior Analysis and Consultation. In parallel, she is a third-year PhD student in nursing at UCLA focusing her research on feeding difficulties in children on the autism spectrum. Sarah is passionate about the intersection of primary care, behavior, and health equity.
